Mr. Sevantilal Jivanlal Parekh

Mr. Sevantilal Jivanlal Parekh an Indian National has graduated from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Bombay (Bombay University) in the Year, 1952. He has experience of 53 years in different fields like Shipping, Construction, Manufacturing, Investment, Finance, etc. He was holding the post of Executive Chairman of the Company and has taken the additional responsibility of Managing Director due to the tragic demise of Mr. Sunil S Parekh, who was Managing Director of the company.




Mr. R.S. Saboo


Mr. R.S. Saboo an I Com. from Kolkata University, joined the Company in the year 1953 and retired as an Executive Director of the Company. He is an expert in the shipping related activities. After retirement he joined the Board as a Director.


 

Mr. Suhrid Somani

Mr. Suhrid Somani a Graduate from Mumbai University in commerce is expert in Marketing, Purchase and finance. He is an Executive Director of Claridge Moulded Fibre Ltd.



Mr. Paolo Clerici

Chairman and CEO of Coeclerici SpA and Chairman of many other Group companies

Genoese by birth, Paolo Clerici was born in 1945, is married with two children.

After studying in Italy and Switzerland he joined the Coeclerici Group – at that time called Coe & Clerici – in 1967, starting with oil products trading and working up to an executive position in 1972 with his appointment as CEO and Managing Director of some minor Group companies.

He left Coeclerici in 1976 and set up his own companies first SAIF, acting inter alia as agent of Thyssen Carbometal Inc./ and Koch Carbon. He sold his shares in SAIF to his partner Franco Zucchi and in 1980 started a new company Compagnia Mercantile Internazionale active in importing coal, scrap metal, chemical and food products.

He went back to the Group in 1983 as CEO of SIRCO Trading S.p.A. (joint venture between Sears World Trade Inc., IRI and Coe & Clerici). He was also appointed member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of Coe & Clerici SpA.

In 1986 he was appointed Managing Director and one year later Deputy Chairman of the holding company, Coeclerici SpA. Paolo Clerici is the prime mover behind the international expansion of the Group, of which he has become Chairman in 1992.

Since 2001, after the conclusion of his second mandate as President of the Italian Ship-owners Association (Confitarma) 1997-2001, Paolo Clerici has decided to concentrate full time on the Coeclerici Group.

In June 2003 he was conferred the insignia of Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knight of Labor) by Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, President of the Italian Republic.




Mr. Andrea Clavarino


Chief Executive Officer of Coeclerici Logistics SpA

Andrea Clavarino, born in Mar del Plata (Argentina) on 24 January 1957, is married since
1992 and has two daughters.

He graduated in law in 1980 at the Genoa University and that same year entered the Coeclerici Group.

Andrea Clavarino has held different positions within the Group.

He has been Director of the Johannesburg office, Marketing Director, Director General of the Trading division and he is presently Managing Director of Coeclerici Logistics, the Group logistics division. He is also Executive Vice President, General and Institutional Affairs of Coeclerici SpA, the Group holding company.

Since 1999 he has been President of Assocarboni, the International Association of Coal Operators, grouping more than 90 international coal operators, based in Rome and represented in Brussels.

Since October 2000, he is also the President of Euriscoal, the European Association of the Coal Importing Companies based in Brussels.

Since 2001 he has been a Member of CIAB, The Coal Industry Advisory Board, consultative body within the IEA, the International Energy Agency, Paris.


Mr. Emanuele A Lauro

Mr. Emanuele A. Lauro, joined Scorpio Group in 2003 and has continued to serve there in a senior management position since 2004. Under Mr. Lauro's leadership, Scorpio Group has grown to an operator and manager of approximately 70 vessels in 2008. Over the course of the last six years, Mr. Lauro has founded and developed the Scorpio Aframax Tanker Pool, Scorpio Panamax Tanker Pool and the Scorpio Handymax Tanker Pool. He also founded Scorpio Logistics in May 2007, a company within the Scorpio Group which owns and operates specialized assets engaged in coal transhipment in Indonesia and which engages in strategic investments in coastal shipping and port development in India. Furthermore, Mr. Lauro formed a joint venture with Koenig & cie., Scorship Navigation, in August 2005 which engages in the identification, placement, and management of certain international shipping investments on behalf of German investors. In addition, Mr. Lauro developed a joint venture company, Crewtech Philippines, in May 2007 which screens, trains, and manages vessel staff for various third party owners of drybulk and tanker vessels. Mr. Lauro has a degree in international business from the European Business School, London, and he has served as the Vice President of the Chamber of Shipping of Monaco since 2006.



Mr. David B. Nestler

Mr. David B. Nestler is an Executive Vice President of Oxbow Carbon & Minerals Global petroleum coke and International Carbon businesses. He works in Oxbow’s headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL.
He joined the company in 2000 having previously served in the same capacity at AIMCOR prior to its acquisition by Oxbow.
Prior to Aimcor/Oxbow, he worked for 15 years at Koch Industries, the largest privately held company in the United States.
Mr. David B. Nestler has 25 years of experience in the petroleum industry, including positions in sales and marketing, strategic partnership management, and transportation and logistics management.
He has a B.S. in Business Management from Kansas State University.




Mrs. Sujata Parekh Kumar

Mrs. Sujata Parekh Kumar commerce Graduate from Mumbai University and M.B.A. from U.S.A has 23 years experience as a working partner in associated group companies and firms. She has strong skills in financial accounting, MIS, systems development and particularly back office operations. She actively manages a group investment portfolio in equities and debt.

She was appointed a Dealer on the OTC Exchange Of India in October 1991; and co-promoted Practical Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., a corporate member of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. in 1992.

Completed a course on Securities and Portfolio Management at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad in August 1992. Has Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) – Derivatives Market – Core module by National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., in October 1998. Qualified to sell mutual fund products and has completed the AMFI – Mutual Fund (Advisors) Module of certification in financial markets. Completed 2 years of Masters in Computer Science from University of Texas Arlington.

The insurance needs of the Parekh and Parijat Group companies kindled the desire in Mrs. Sujata Parekh Kumar to start an Insurance Broking Company. She passed the Insurance Broker’s Examination and in January 2006, was born Shinrai Insurance Broking Services Pvt. Ltd., licenced by IRDA, where she was appointed as Director Cum Principal Officer. In a short span of 3 years Shinrai Insurance Broking Services Pvt. Ltd. has achieved a Premium Turn-over of 8 Crores under her able leadership.
